Incredible Cockfighting Cruelty, Corruption in Monterey County, California

To help stop cruel, criminal cockfighting, Monterey County, California has an ordinance limiting a property owner to 5 roosters. A property much obtain a permit for more than five roosters.

There are currently more than 1000 illegal rooster operations in Monterey County, and no legal permits for more than five roosters. That indicates rampant corruption in Monterey County, including law enforcement, and a supposed humane organization.

SHARK Documents Senseless and Unscientific Cormorant Slaughter

SAND ISLAND, WA – An international animal protection watchdog group has released a video exposing the cruelty, secrecy and misconduct of three Federal agencies in a tax -unded slaughter of thousands of native birds off the Pacific Coast – and wasting taxpayer money trying to cover it up.

"The US Army Corps of Engineers, the US Dept. of Agriculture's Wildlife Services and the US Coast Guard are working together to keep the public from witnessing what is happening to animals held in public trust, on public waters, with our money," said SHARK (SHowing Animals Respect and Kindness)

Cownose Ray Slaughter Documented

April, 2017 UPDATE! Thanks to SHARK's documentation and the hard work of Fish Feel a new law was passed banning these slaughters. Read more here.

MECHANICSVILLE, MD – Graphic undercover video taken here of a killing "contest" this past weekend, and now being made public, documents a horrific slaughter of Cownose Rays, who were shot by arrows at point-blank range. The rays were then gaffed and repeatedly clubbed with bats before slowly suffocating to death.

Hundreds of indigenous Cownose Rays – many of them pregnant  – were mutilated, killed and then dumped as garbage into the river. The so-called "Battle of the Rays" tournament was held Saturday, June 13, 2015 near Mechanicsville, on the Patuxent River tributary of Chesapeake Bay.  Over a hundred bowfishers participated.

Much more to follow in the coming days. Here is the raw footage SHARK and Fish Feel is providing the media:

Rodeo Cruelty

rodeo crueltyAnyone with a heart knows it's wrong to clothesline a baby animal, body slam it to the ground, tie its legs so it can't move, and drag it by the neck. If this were done to a puppy or kitten, the offender would understandably be charged with a crime, and likely be jailed.

In rodeos, however, it's called calf roping, and supporters claim it's a sport. But the abuse of baby cows is just one of rodeo's cruelties. Click to see SHARK's video proof from years of rodeo investigations.

Pigeon Shoots

Pigeon shoots are competitions wherein thousands of live birds are shot to win prizes. A typical 3-day shoot contest can kill and injure up to 15,000 birds.

Pigeon shoots are nothing more than a vile excuse for entertainment for the dull-witted or psychopathic. Illegal in other countries and in all but a couple of American states, most people realize the despicable nature of these bird-killing contests.

Bullfight Bloodbath

Bullfighting is one of the most defensible types of animal abuse. SHARK's graphic footage shows the horror of what happens at these events.

Dare to look at this. The pointless barbarism and cowardice is undeniable.

Deer Kills

"Deer management programs," which are in reality mass slaughters, are not the clean, efficient or humane culling programs "wildlife experts" would have the public believe.

Whether the method is sharpshooting, rocket netting, net trapping, etc., the massacres are problematic and cruel, with the animals paying for every mistake their executioners make.

Hunting Cruelty

Cage-raised birds shot as they are ejected from cages -- deer populations purposely inflated to excess -- government slaughters in the name of "nuisance control."

Hunters claim they "harvest" wildlife, but in fact they are raping nature for the thrill of the kill. Check out SHARK's undercover videos exposing these horrors.

Horse Killing

The American tradition of loving and respecting horses existed long before there was a United States. Americans counted on horses to build this nation; to plow the fields and to carrying soldiers to battle. Horses are for many people part of their family.

Unfortunately, not everyone in the United States gives the horse the respect it deserves. There are those who are willing to see horses killed for profit, and that is who this website seeks to expose. Horse slaughter proponents claim to care about horses, but the facts and the video footage tell a very different story.
