PEARL RIVER CO., Miss. (WLBT) - State Auditor Shad White announced the arrest of a former board member and officer of the Pearl River County Crime Stoppers for embezzlement.

White says Michelle McBride used her position as secretary/treasurer to embezzle over $52,000 from Pearl River County Crime Stoppers.

Investigators say she used the PRCCS debit card for personal rodeo expenses and transferred the money to a fraudulent non-profit account.
