This is the address for the latest cockfighting pit that SHARK is exposing. This pit, which we were observing on Sunday, March 12,2023 while a cockfight was ongoing, is owned and operated by Christopher Stimits. A man that local law enforcement has labeled a "career criminal."

To reach this Pit from the Jasper County Sheriff's sub-station in Buna, TX, proceed south on Highway 96 1.4 miles to Highway 96S (Business) and turn left. Continue 4.8 miles and turn right onto Highway 804 and continue to the end of the street to arrive at the cockfighting pit.

Silverhill Pit, Magoffin County, KY

Here is a massive new illegal Cockfighting Arena SHARK is exposing. This pit is owned and operated by Jerry McCarty.

To reach this Pit from the Magoffin County Sheriff's office, proceed west on Highway 460 for 7.5 miles and turn onto Highway 1081. Continue 4.2 miles to arrive at this illegal cockfighting pit on the left side of the road.

Whitesburg, KY Pit

There is momentous news in our Crush Cockfighting campaign. On Saturday, federal agents and Kentucky State Police descended on a cockfight near Whitesburg, Kentucky. There were lots of various law enforcement vehicles, a helicopter - a full-blown federal bust. See video shot by a local here.

A local newspaper and others posted images, some of which are included in this update. SHARK has been aware of the Whitesburg pit for months, and actually took undercover footage inside the pit. This footage showed children as both attendees and working within the criminal operation. After getting this footage we decided to give the feds time to deal with the operation their way, which finally happened on Saturday.

This pit property was owned by Kimberly Lynn Baughman. It has since been sold. The cockfighting pit was managed by Robert Ray Baughman, both of Stringtown, OK. More details below.

To reach Charlie’s Pit from the Tomahawk, KY Fire Department, proceed south on Rock House Rd for 0.4 miles and then turn left onto Lower Wolf Branch Rd. Continue 0.35 miles to the end of the road and arrive at this illegal cockfighting pit.
