DEAR FRIENDS,

SHARK is right now on Lake Erie, just outside the Canadian border, to document the cruel slaughter of majestic cormorants by the Canadian government, through Parks Canada.

On Monday, the first day we were on the lake on our boat, we rescued an injured cormorant whose lower beak had been shot off. On Tuesday, our presence on the lake shut down the shooting, as the killers from Parks Canada didn't want their vile work to be recorded.

This morning, we learned that the killers are going to have an escort from the Ontario Provicial Police to Middle island, where the shooting is taking place. Apparently someone from Parks Canada made a report that there was either a "collision" between the SHARK boat and their boat or we were operating aggressively around their boat.

This is 100% false and we can prove it. We will update you further when we have more news about this shameful attempt by the killers to misuse the police as cover for their own heinous acts.

Even though we only have cameras while the killers are armed with guns, they need a police escort to keep them from being filmed! That type of cowardice is typical for those who slaughter the innocent and who are ashamed to have that violence documented.

Please contact the Canadian Minister of Environment and Climate Change, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and ask that the cormorant killing be shut down immediately!

Please be polite and respectful

We desperately need funds to be able to continue our mission fighting against this heinous slaughter. Please donate to SHARK now and help us keep Parks Canada from shooting innocent cormorants.
