DEAR FRIENDS,
As you know, SHARK has sent out a nationwide call to the animal protection and environmental movements to join us in Oklahoma to protest and document United States Senator Jim Inhofe’s annual live pigeon shoot political fundraiser. The slaughter is set to take place on September 9, 2016, followed by a dove hunt on September 10th, outside of Altus, OK.
This, however, is just the beginning; SHARK is already planning on holding a mini-conference in Oklahoma next year. This will not be a social event, but an opportunity for you to learn how to use technology to help save animals and become a frontline activist.
Those who will be with us this year at the Inhofe shoot will not only be there to bring attention to this important cause, but they will begin to learn how to wage a SHARK-style campaign - using the latest technology to be the most productive frontline activist possible.
Why is our campaign against Inhofe so important? Inhofe isn’t one of those normal vile people who shoot living birds for fun, he’s the chairman of the Senate Environment Committee. Think about how important that position is, and how devastating it is to have someone like Inhofe wielding such power over animals, the environment and ultimately the human race.
Need a reminder of just how cruel and disgusting Inhofe's fundraiser is? Watch our original video and you will know why this is so important. Click the picture to watch the video:
There may be some out there scared too speak out against Inhofe because he is a US Senator, but that is the very reason why we must stand against him.
While filming at a dairy farm, a dairy thug used his vehicle as a weapon against SHARK activists, the Merced County Sheriff's Department turned over documents as is required by state law. Stanislaus County Sheriff Adam Christianson, however, has refused to turn any information whatsoever over, obviously because he has a lot to hide.
