Of all the many rodeos SHARK has documented across the years, none has proven to be more cruel, vicious and deadly than the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This brutality not only stains the rodeo itself, but those businesses whose sponsorship keeps the cruelty coming year after year. Century 21 is one such sponsor.

Cruel Rodeo Events Banned at Rowell Ranch Rodeo
Good news: “mutton busting” and "wild cow milking” at the Rowell Ranch Rodeo have been banned by the Hayward Area Recreation & Park District! These events are cruel to both animals and children and should never have been allowed in the first place.
SHARK has history exposing the Rowell Ranch Rodeo. In 2008, SHARK documented the rodeo illegally electro-shocking horses. Thanks to our evidence, the rodeo was fined $2,500 for shocking horses!
