A pigeon shoot in eastern Pennsylvania turned into an impromptu octocopter hunt last weekend, an animal rights group said.
The octocopter, an eight-bladed, helicopter-type drone in this case equipped with a video camera, was being operated by the president of Showing Animals Respect and Kindness when it was shot near the Wing Pointe Gun Club outside of Reading.
The drone operator said it was used to record a Sunday pigeon shoot at the club, which protesters called an “animal abusers paradise,” the Lehigh Valley Express-Times reported on Monday.
