This property was run by Melinda Sizemore. We believe Tim Sizemore is now running this criminal operation. Laurel Creek is different from most cockfight locations in that it is easily visible from Kentucky 11. As such, every fight was known to both each and every local citizen, in addition to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office and the Kentucky State Police, because everyone driving by can see all the parked vehicles. It is more difficult for this place because it is viewable to the public, but the corruption in Clay County is particularly bad, starting with the sheriff’s office.
