DodgeRodeoCruelty.com
There is a dark side to the company that only wants you to think about its automobiles. Chrysler/Dodge/Fiat is one of the largest sponsors in the United States of the horrific "sport" of rodeo, supporting the barbaric and pointless abuse, injuries, and deaths of animals forced to "perform" in this industry.
In 2011, not long after getting a US Government Bailout, Dodge went bankrupt. Chrysler was then purchased by Fiat Automobiles of Italy.
In the United States, the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) alone boasts that Chrysler spends over 6.6 million dollars annually to support its rodeo animal abuse. Chryser also sponsors another rodeo group, the National High School Rodeo Association, which teaches young people violence and cruelty, and still other rodeo organizations that spread animal abuse across the United States and Canada.
Chrysler's total support of rodeo animal abuse could easily top 10 million dollars every year!
Efforts to talk to Chrysler about its sponsorship results only in meaningless form letters, and promises that the cruelty SHARK has video documented for years -- and has been exposed by local, national and international media -- is not occurring. Chrysler's apparent position is that if it simply ignores the mountains of evidence, the cruelty doesn't exist!
Please look at the pictures and video exposing Chrysler's support of horrific animal abuse. Remember the cruelty behind every Chrysler product.
Take Action!
The best way to oppose the cruelty of Chrysler/Dodge/Fiat is to:
(1) Buy a different make of automobile so that your money won't be used to promote animal abuse.
(2) Please tell Chrysler/Dodge/Fiat to stop their support of this cruel industry.

Below is the typical meaningless corporate bullshit they send to their customers. A total blow-off. Meanwhile Chrysler/Dodge/Fiat money continues to support animals being injured and killed every weekend across America.

Michael:
Thank you for contacting the Dodge Customer Assistance Center.
We appreciate the issues you've rasied concerning rodeos. We agree that the humane treatment of animals is important -- it is among a set of core values essential to good corporate or individual citizenship.
That said, we believe that properly managed, rodeos can be clean family entertainment that brings families and communities together and celebrates an important part of our American heritage.
Rodeos are a source of civic pride and generate significant resources for numerous charitable causes. We respect the sport and what it means to its audience, their families and communities. Just as important, we expect that the livestock featured in the rodeos we sponsor receive humane treatment. Dodge and Ram is not associated with events that do not share these values.
We sponsor rodeo events conducted in accordance with guidelines developed by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. PRCA has a 50-year record of promoting and enforcing rules and guidelines ensuring the health and well-being of rodeo livestock. These are published and available directly from the organization. Such rules and guidelines have been endorsed by the American Veterinary Medical Association. The rodeo judges are charged with the responsibility of assuring strict adherence to their rules. Also, the PRCA requires a local, on-site veterinarian to review and approve reports of animal treatment for each performance. Anyone who purposely ignore these rules is subject to punishment and possible termination from their sanctioning contract as well as termination of their sponsorship.
Together with the PRCA, contestants, rodeo personnel, veterinarians and rodeo fans across the United States, we share your concerns and will continue to work to ensure attention is given to animal welfare at all of our Dodge and Ram sponsored events.
Thank you for your input.
Thanks again for your email.
Sincerely, Sylvia
