Former Police Officer, Now Corporate Provocateur Tortures Pigeon in Attempt to Incite Activists

December 3, 2013

Former New York City Police Inspector Kevin J. Perham of Commack, New York has been identified as the individual who tortured a pigeon in front of animal activists at the Philadelphia Gun Club (State and Street Roads in Bensalem, PA) on November 9, 2013.

While animal protectors waited in boats and on the shore of the Delaware River to rescue pigeons shot by the gun club, Perham taunted them by holding up a wounded pigeon by one wing. Perham swung the wounded animal and bounced it up and down while the pigeon flailed in agony. See videos here:

Remote Controlled Aircraft Drone Exposes Environmental Crimes

Drone Video Documents Pigeon Shooters Illegally Burning Hazardous Waste

SHowing Animals Respect and Kindness (SHARK) has been a pioneer in the use of remote controlled drones to expose animal abuse and environmental crimes associated with live pigeon shoots held in Pennsylvania. SHARK president Steve Hindi's hobby is flying remote controlled aircraft. SHARK takes the video Hindi collects and publishes it.

On October 23, 2011, Hindi's drone videotaped both pigeons and tires being burned after an illegal live pigeon shoot held at the Wing Pointe pigeon shooting club in Berks County, PA. The illegal shoots are extremely cruel events where birds that have been deprived of food and water are launched from small boxes and shot at as living targets. Hundreds, if not thousands of birds are either wounded or killed at an average shoot.

Witness to brutal cruelty at rodeo wants to adopt abused horse - but the rodeo industry blocks her

 Aug. 27, 2013

Watch the video of this story and the horse being abused here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YmxTYtRnjpg

On June 28, 2013, Reno resident, Ellie Lopez-Bowlan, who was attending the 2013 Reno Rodeo, in Reno, Nevada, witnessed something that has shaken her life.  She saw one of the rodeo horses being tortured by men who were hitting him, pinching him, and using small electrical prods on his abdomen. The most revolting act was the use of a long wire that was shoved into his anus and this was followed by a very long yellow electric prod.  The horse was shocked with the yellow prod, yelled, and bucked violently.

Mrs. Lopez-Bowlan reached out to SHowing Animals Respect and Kindness (SHARK) and shared her story and video with us. SHARK is now attempting to help her find this horse so she can rescue him from a life full of abuse and torture.
